Yes, in contrast to my hate-filled last 2 posts, I’ve decided to procrastinate on a happier and stress-free subject.

Our family literally calls them shitbags due to the fact that all they essentially do is eat and shit, and can’t do any tricks or rolls when we tell them to. Luckily for them, they’re adorable enough to be excused, hence my mum hasn’t rid of them yet. When we adopted these two, they were only about 2-3 weeks old and they fit into the palm of my hand. From the early days, their characters were quite distinctive.

As for the names, my dear sister is aspiring to get into an Ivy League college so we joked about naming the bunnies after the two best known ones. After a couple of weeks, we couldn’t find any better names so we just stuck with that.

Some of you might be wondering why the dude’s name is Yale and the girl’s name is Harvard. This is because we didn’t know the gender of both the bunnies at the time we gave them these names, so we just named them fitting to their personalities.

Yale sulks rather easily and acts much more sensibly, despite him being the male. His eating habits are often compared to my dad’s, who is rather picky in what he eats and eats very sparing amounts, slowly too… Consequently, both of them are rather underweight…

His sister, Harvard, as the more masculine name suggests, is more of the reckless type. She has quite an appetite and eats about 2-3 times faster than Yale. She’s also very adventurous and is always the one to find a way outside the fence we put up – Yale just doesn’t seem to have the guts to plan an escape. Instead, when we discover that Harvard had escaped, he leads us to the escape route and helps track the fugitive down. Lol
